       一、主旨類題

  (1)特征

  題干中出現(xiàn) main idea/topic/title/mainly about 等詞。

  (2)做題技巧

  過大不選;過小不選。

  (3)正確選項(xiàng)特點(diǎn)

  不出現(xiàn)細(xì)節(jié)信息;不含過分肯定或絕對意義的詞。

  (4)干擾項(xiàng)特點(diǎn)

  一般以偏概全,只是文章的細(xì)枝末節(jié),不能涵蓋全文內(nèi)容; 出現(xiàn)細(xì)節(jié)性的名詞信息;過于籠統(tǒng)。

  例題:

  Just because you’re better educated doesn’t mean that you’re any more rational than everyone else, no matter how hard you may try to give that impression.Maybe we need to think more about how who we are affects our “rational” decisions.

  A. A very Comforting Illusion. B. A Rational Approach to Lottery.

  Art smart people just naturally attracted to study are or perform music, dance, or drama?   二、態(tài)度類題

  (1) 特征

  題干中出現(xiàn) author’s attitude/idea/opinion/tone 等詞出現(xiàn)。

  (2) 做題技巧

  一定不作為選項(xiàng)的三類:

  漠不關(guān)心類:indifferent, uninterested

  主觀偏見類:biased, prejudiced, partial, subjective, scornful

  中立類:neutral, detached

  (3) 解答態(tài)度觀點(diǎn)題應(yīng)注意兩點(diǎn)

  1)區(qū)別作者的態(tài)度與其他人的態(tài)度。問文中某人對某事物的態(tài)度一般歸入事實(shí)細(xì)節(jié)題。

  2)選項(xiàng)可能不再是態(tài)度明確的肯定或否定的形容詞,而改為帶有程度限制的形容詞。一般帶有絕對化或過于強(qiáng)烈的表示態(tài)度的詞必錯(cuò),如 strong/complete/entire/enthusiastic 等。而有保留的態(tài)度比較客觀,因此通常是正確選項(xiàng),如 reserved/qualified/tempered/guarded consent 等

  例題:

  Once he was an almost ideal “Jack,” strong, athletic, quietly confident, imminently trustworthy, but his recent renal failure dialysis treatments, his stroke his constant tremor have robbed his of his strength,mobility, golf game, but not of his will or love of his family.
